Network Management:

  1. To carry out studies related to the physical installation, operation, arrangement and maintenance of the campus network infrastructure.
  2. To determine the active/passive devices to be used in the network, to design, develop and integrate the system infrastructure required for adding new services.
  3. Establishing the necessary hardware and software infrastructure for the healthy implementation of central network management, detecting and updating the software versions of existing active devices.
  4. To ensure dynamism by continuously monitoring the internet usage traffic in the central system, analyzing and reporting the errors, monitoring the performance of active devices and operating on the problematic points.
  5. Making arrangements for establishing internet and network connections to existing and newly established units within the university, intervening on time and in place for malfunctions, and helping to solve problems.
  6. To provide uninterrupted internet access with sufficient speed and bandwidth to campuses, and to optimize internet traffic by creating virtual networks.
  7. Organizing IP addresses.
  8. To ensure network security.
  9. To ensure the extraction of the Campus Network topology.
  10. To raise awareness of unit employees and end users about what they should do in the system they use, with periodical in-service trainings.
  11. To ensure that researches are carried out on adding innovations to the existing infrastructure by following new technologies.
